Trixie Mattel cosmetics is launching a new line of makeup that it says delivers the same high-quality formulas as its classic line.
The brand says it has been developing new formulas for years and says it is working with “premium” beauty companies to bring the new line to the U.S. The new products are designed to look like the older ones, but have been made in a laboratory.
They are supposed to last for five days.
The name is meant to honor Trixies own mother, who died in 2011.
The family said it has tried the new products before and has liked the results.
The company is not naming the beauty brand because the company doesn’t want to be a distraction.
The products are also being sold at retail.
Trixiethemetics.com says its makeup is inspired by Trixiedies history, family and work ethic.
It says it started in 2014 with a simple idea: Make a line that celebrates Trixy’s love of beauty.
The line, called Trixiematic, will feature products inspired by her family, the Trixieras and their business, Trixedie, as well as new formulas from brands like the beauty company, The Body Shop and Lancôme.
The beauty company says the new formulas are the result of extensive research and development.
It is not releasing details on what those research efforts involved.
The Trixiamatic line will debut in March at the New York City store of the beauty giant.
It will also hit stores in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
The cosmetics company said it plans to launch the new lines at Sephora stores, Sephores stores and Ulta.
The lines are not part of the company’s expanded Trixieland brand.
Trixy, who is now 77, died of cancer in January.
Her husband, the late Trixi Mink, died in 2013. Related:
