Flowers & Company has filed a $1bn lawsuit against cosmetics company Thrive Cosmetics in the US state of California.
The cosmetics company, which has more than 3,000 employees, has a long history of taking unpaid leave to care for its employees.
Thrive Cosmas is based in New York City.
Flowers & Co., which is based on the US East Coast, says that it is owed more than $1,000,000 in unpaid bills, according to the suit.
It also claims that the company has been unable to pay employees since 2015.
It is not clear how much money Flowers & Com’s employees were owed.
Flowers is not the only beauty company to be sued in the past year for unpaid products.
Last week, a California cosmetics company was ordered to pay $1m to its former employees after it claimed that it was owed more money than it was due.
Earlier this year, another cosmetics company filed suit against a beauty brand that it alleged owed $2m in unpaid items.
