A cosmetics recall involving the brand Nars has prompted an overhaul in how people are using cosmetics.
Nars cosmetics said Tuesday that it had recalled approximately 1 million products in the United States, including those made in China, Korea and India.
The brand had been sold in stores across the U.S. since May 26.
NARS said in a statement that the recall affects products sold in the U, Canada, the U.-Korea, China, India, Australia, Japan and Singapore.
Nams Cosmetics is a leading American cosmetics brand that is owned by Johnson & Johnson.
It was founded in 1891 and is owned in part by the J&B family.
It has more than 300 brands, including Estée Lauder, Marc Jacobs, L’Oréal, MAC, MAC Cosmetics, Too Faced and Guerlain.
Nail polish and nail lacquers also were affected.
